A more recent and advanced threat from the dark web is the Ploutus-D malware. This malware is designed to hijack ATM systems by targeting their hardware components such as card readers, dispensers, and pin pads. Once installed, it allows the hacker to drain all the cash from the machine in minutes. The source code for Ploutus-D is also available for sale on dark web forums, making this exploit widely accessible.
